Gabi, I loved this post! What a message to find on the plywood under the linoleum. Whatever did they cover up the hardwood for?! Thanks for sharing the archaeological aspect of your demolition as well. It is indeed interesting to see the Kool-Aid package from 1942… Lots of people are still drinking the Kool-Aid these days! Looks like you have taken on quite a project, I look forward to seeing the next post in this series along with the completed kitchen in a subsequent installment. I very much enjoyed this one.
