Very welcome, Leslie!! Mujdei de Usturoi. If I remember well is as simple as crushed garlic/broth mix. If I think about it, mujdei sounds very close to a loose vinaigrette!
Try this, crush and dice say 2 garlic cloves, add salt and pepper to taste, 1 tsp vegetable oil and 1/4 cup warm broth. Mix and it should be done. I think you can also improvise with whatever spices, you have on hand. Never heard of vinegar in mujdei though although sounds good.
I <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mujdei" rel="nofollow">hopped over to wikipedia</a> and sure enough, I almost got it right!

Thanks again!

Nikki: Thanks! Yes, I cannot escape her running around in my videos and in the end I decided to not edit - it adds a touch of fun to my videos.

Taste Memory Girl: Thanks! I love that granite mortar and pestle. Beside the fact that is so kool, it brings out the best of ANYTHING you crush in there. I simply cannot imagine cooking without it.

Cheers!

Sam and all,

thanks for the comments!

I am literally afraid to add garlic to this dip as much as I adore garlic! It might be a childhoot culinary trauma that might have caused this - :-)

thanks again!

Thanks for stopping by my place. Can't wait to explore yours.

Fire-roasted and grounded like this is the only way I can eat eggplant.
